Assistant or Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry
Touro College in New York City is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry to begin fall 2017.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include teaching, establishing a research program that involves undergraduate students, advising and service to the department. The position will require instruction of General and Organic Chemistry lectures and labs. The candidate may be asked to develop advanced courses in her/his discipline. Travel within New York City to multiple campuses may be required.
Scholarly activities will include research in the candidates’ area of expertise as well as conducting undergraduate research. Active participation in School and College wide committees and academic advising will be part of the service component.
- The successful candidate must have completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry or related field by August 2017.
