The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University San Bernardino invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor, beginning in Fall 2018 in the area of biochemistry.  Candidates are expected to provide stimulating, innovative, and equity-based teaching focused on student success in general and introductory chemistry in addition to the lower and upper division courses in biochemistry, and to develop and sustain an externally funded, independent research agenda. Research in all areas of biochemistry is appropriate; expertise in biomaterials, biomolecular modeling, bioinformatics or bioanalytical chemistry would complement existing research capabilities, and could lead to research collaboration and/or course development.
