Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Biochemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment to begin in August 2018. Teaching responsibilities will be in Biochemistry and in our laboratory-focused, inquiry-based General Chemistry sequence. It is also expected that the successful candidate will teach an elective course in their area of expertise that complements the current offerings in the department. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching as well as scholarly achievement. Ph.D. required.

Please submit a cover letter describing research and teaching interests, curriculum vitae, a research plan including how undergraduates will be involved and estimated start-up needs and budget, statement on teaching, unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts (official transcripts will be required at time of appointment), and three confidential letters of recommendation. In your cover letter, in addition to describing your research and teaching interests, please address the ways you might contribute to and further the College’s mission as a Jesuit, undergraduate liberal arts college and its core commitment to diversity and inclusion. Please submit all application materials to https://apply.interfolio.com/43228. Review of applications will begin on September 15. Please contact Professor Kevin Quinn at kquinn@holycross.edu with questions about the position.

The College of the Holy Cross is a highly selective Catholic liberal arts college in the Jesuit tradition.
