TWO TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITIONS IN CHEMISTRY. The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry in the College of Science & Health at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) http://www.uwlax.edu/Chemistry-and-Biochemistry/ anticipates hiring two dynamic teacher-scholars at the Assistant Professor level to join its top-rated program on August 27, 2018. Our new colleagues will teach General and Organic Chemistry lecture and laboratory courses along with advanced elective courses in their areas of expertise, develop an active research program involving undergraduates, and be engaged in university, professional, and public service. Special consideration may be given to individuals with additional expertise in the areas of materials science and/or industrial/nuclear/energy chemistry. Our department and college maintain a large array of modern instrumentation resources, and we will move into a brand new, state-of-the-art laboratory sciences facility in 2018. Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry or related discipline, a commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship at the undergraduate level, and demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication are required. Preference will be given to candidates with post-doctoral research experience and those whose professional expertise complements that of the existing faculty.
