The Department of Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University seeks applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the area of Chemical Biology. We seek scientists who are eager to join and contribute to a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that promotes innovative research, education and service initiatives.

The successful applicant will benefit from existing research centers such as the Center for Nucleic Acids Science and Technology (CNAST), the Molecular Biosensor and Imaging Center (MBIC) and the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition (CNBC). 

Qualified applicants will have Ph.D. and/or Post-doctoral training at the interface between chemistry and biology with promise for building an internationally recognized laboratory and for dedicated teaching and mentoring of diverse future generations of undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral students.
