Potential for research collaboration exists with faculty at the nearby Louisiana State University Health Science Center and excellent funding opportunities unique to the State of Louisiana are available for equipment and research support. The Department ( ) has acquired over $1 million in instrumentation to support its ACS-accredited program. A Ph.D. or postdoctoral training commensurate with these responsibilities is required at the time of employment.
