Yale-NUS College, a collaboration between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Yale University, seeks to hire two or more open rank, tenure-track or tenured faculty members in any field of physical science.

We seek outstanding teacher-scholars, who are committed to innovative pedagogy and curriculum development, research excellence and who enjoy closely mentoring undergraduates. Successful candidates will teach both within their specialties and more broadly in the Yale-NUS Common Curriculum (please see http://www.yale-nus.edu.sg/curriculum/common-curriculum). Candidates are encouraged to indicate ways in which they might supervise undergraduate research. Preferred research areas include both theoretical and experimental condensed matter and atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics, quantum information, and analytical, computational or physical chemistry, though candidates from all areas of the physical sciences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary, benefits, and leave policies will be competitive at an international level. Yale-NUS College is committed to supporting faculty research through start-up grants, research and travel allowances, institutional assistance with proposal preparation, and administration of external grant funding. Full-time appointments are preferred, but joint appointments with other units of NUS may be negotiated.
