The Northern Kentucky University (NKU) Department of Chemistry invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions beginning August 2018: 1) Analytical chemistry; and 2) Biochemistry. For each position, a Ph.D. in chemistry (or biochemistry) is required and postdoctoral experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidates will have a strong interest in teaching and research involving undergraduates and a desire to belong to a collegial, vibrant department committed to excellence in the classroom, in the research lab and in P-12 outreach. The candidates will be expected to develop a research program suitable for undergraduate participation with a strong likelihood of external funding and can expect start-up research funds. Successful candidates may be eligible to be awarded the Dorothy Westerman Hermann or Ashland Endowed Professorships in Science. Visit http://chemistry.nku.edu for more information on the position.
