Candidates from all areas of chemistry will be considered, but a preference will be towards the areas of analytical, environmental or computational chemistry. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in a chemistry discipline, strong communication skills, a commitment to both teaching and research in the liberal arts environment, the ability to establish a research program that can engage undergraduates and be able to teach courses and/or labs in both general chemistry and at the upper level. Prior teaching experience and post-doctoral research are desirable.
