DISTINGUISHED PROFESSOR OF CHEMISTRY
Wichita State University (www.wichita.edu/chemistry) invites applications from organic/bioorganic chemists to fill the inaugural position as the Erach Talaty Distinguished Professor of Chemistry. This endowed chair carries an elevated salary and annual research allowance. Appointment is expected to be at the tenured Associate Professor level, but candidates at the Full Professor level will be considered. Hence candidates should hold a doctoral degree in chemistry or related field and have a record of nationally and internationally recognized research and funding normally associated with tenure at Ph.D.-granting institutions. The successful candidate will be expected to continue a vigorous externally funded research program involving B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. level students and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise.
