Open Rank Faculty Position on Catalysis
UNIVERSITY of CINCINNATI
The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Cincinnati seeks applications to fill an open-rank tenure-track or tenured faculty position in catalysis or a research area related to sustainability/health. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or closely related field. An ideal candidate is expected to develop or already have developed a vigorous, externally-funded research program that applies innovative approaches to address problems in the sustainable chemistry/energy or life sciences. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing a growing focus on sustainable chemistry and health in the department.
In addition, the successful candidate is expected to be committed to enthusiastic and effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates considered for the Assistant Professor rank must also arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent directly to the Department of Chemistry (by e-mail to email@example.com - preferred) or by paper mail.
