Faculty Position in Experimental Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Purdue University (www.physics.purdue.edu) seeks applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of experimental atomic, molecular, and optical physics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics or a related field, an outstanding record of research accomplishments, and evidence of potential excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. Candidates are expected to develop a vigorous research program, supervise graduate students, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
