The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana invites applications for a tenure track position at the level of assistant professor with expertise in inorganic or bioinorganic chemistry. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our program, with duties that include teaching courses in the department curriculum consistent with his or her background, developing/continuing a nationally recognized research program with extramural funding, and participating in professional and university outreach and service activities. Programs with interdisciplinary research themes are welcome. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is required at the time of appointment, and postdoctoral experience is highly desirable.
