Assistant Professor, Organic Chemistry - Fordham University
The Department of Chemistry, Fordham University (Bronx, NY), invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2018. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate Organic Chemistry lecture and laboratory courses and maintaining a highly active original research program involving undergraduates that leads to publications in peer-reviewed journals and externally funded grants. The department offers an ACS-approved B.S. degree.
Ph.D. in Chemistry, post-doctoral experience, a background in organic chemistry, and research expertise in a complementary applied interdisciplinary research area – for example, molecular electronics, optical materials, polymers, catalysis, chemical biology, or chemical education.
