Professor (Practice) in Medicinal Chemistry

The Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry, School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, NTU, is seeking candidates who have a proven track record of industrial leadership at a senior level and will also serve to strengthen NTU’s ties with industrial partners as well as enhance collaboration between academia and industry.

The successful candidate will be expected to strengthen research in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery & development through their own expertise as well as extensive collaborations with the faculty members. He or she will also be involved in undergraduate and graduate level teaching as well as graduate research student supervision. The candidate will also be expected to apply medicinal chemistry and drug discovery expertise in translating research to realize the commercial potential of new findings.

The candidate must have a PhD (or equivalent) degree.  They are expected to have an international standing and reputation in their field and document an influential practice-track record at a senior level. Evidence of strong teaching ability, a higher level of evidence of involvement in education and research, as well as leadership in the professional community are also required. Salary will commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
