The Chemistry Department at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University invites applications for a full-time one-year term position (with benefits and a competitive salary).  This position will begin in August 2018 and has potential for renewal.  The hire will be mentored in inclusive pedagogy, interdisciplinary teaching, and providing student support.  We expect a strong commitment to deliver an innovative chemistry curriculum to diverse learners in a small class setting.  The 12-member department is looking for a team-member to teach multi-section integrated courses and labs in the area of chemical reactivity (Inorganic, Organic and Biochemistry).  View further detail about our ACS accredited program at http://www.csbsju.edu/chemistry/our-curriculum/course-syllabi-and-daily-schedules.  Opportunities exist for faculty-student research in a modern facility with robust instrumentation.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in undergraduate education.  A Ph. D. in Chemistry or closely related field is required by August 2018.
