Tenure track Faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level
The National University of Singapore, NUS, is the premier university in Singapore and Asia. According the 2017 QS University ranking by the subject of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, the NUS is ranked 2nd in Asia and 11th in the world. The Department of Pharmacy at the NUS invites applications to fill a position in the tenure track scheme at the grade of Assistant Professor. The position is open to experts in the areas of chemical biology, medicinal chemistry or pharmaceutical chemistry.
The applicant is expected to hold a PhD degree and have postdoctoral experience. The ideal candidate should be a creative researcher and a dedicated educator. In addition to a good list of impactful publications, the candidate must demonstrate the capability to set up a new research programme that revolves around cutting edge scientific ideas which are either applied or translational in nature. Some experience in teaching will be advantageous as the position will require the candidate to teach in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Teaching will involve the use of innovative teaching and learning pedagogies to achieve a prescribed set of competency.
