Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry at Hanover College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 2018. This position is a one-year appointment with possibility of renewal. The position involves teaching three sections of general chemistry lecture (two in the fall and one in the winter semester) and laboratory sections with each plus a quantitative analysis course in the winter (four courses in total). Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in chemistry, although ABD or recent doctoral graduates will be considered. Strong preference will be given to those with specialization in analytical chemistry and experience teaching quantitative analysis. This position is benefit eligible.
