Organic Chemistry – The Ouachita Baptist University Department of Chemistry and Physics invites applications for a full-time faculty member in Chemistry with a specialization in Organic Chemistry beginning August 1, 2018. The successful applicant must have a PhD in organic chemistry; a strong commitment to liberal arts education, to teaching courses for science and non-science majors, and to directing undergraduate research. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses and labs in organic chemistry. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, with appointment expected at a minimum rank of assistant professor. Christian commitment is essential.
