Chemistry Teaching Fellow
The Department of Chemistry at St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa, invites applications for a half-time Teaching Fellowship to begin in August 2018. A Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry is required. Teaching Fellows may be current Ph.D. candidates or those who have just completed their Ph.D. and are looking to enhance their teaching experience. Position requires teaching introductory chemistry lecture and lab courses. The teaching load for this position is 6 contact hours per semester. Teaching Fellows will participate in the same support, mentoring, and training sessions provided for all new faculty at the University and will be eligible for professional development funding. The Fellowship is for one year, but could potentially be renewed for a second year.
