Alpha-En Corporation is seeking an electrochemist/battery research scientist for the design, fabrication and assembly of lithium metal battery technology for next generation electrochemical energy storage. The position and tasks will be focused on the research and development of electrochemical cells complimentary to lithium metal anodes. The individual should have direct experience in the science and engineering of modern batteries, and battery chemistries through several (3-5) years of battery/electrochemistry research. A PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or closely related discipline is required. The job location is in the alpha-En research facility in Yonkers, New York. The salary will be competitive for an R&D battery scientist, commensurate with experience. Applicants must be lawfully allowed to work in the United States.
