The Gianetti Lab in The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at The University of Arizona is seeking a qualified, motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate I with expertise in synthetic inorganic chemistry. More information on the Gianetti Lab is available here:

The candidate will be responsible for the synthesis and characterization of novel complexes containing transition metal – carbocation Z-type interaction. The nature of this novel transition metal – Lewis acid (TM – LA) interaction will be studied and used to perform stoichiometric and catalytic hydrogenation, C-H activation and X atom transfer.
