The Department of Chemistry at Northern Michigan University invites applications for an Instructor in Biochemistry. This is a campus-based, one-year term position at the rank of Instructor to begin in August 2018. The Department of Chemistry has twelve full-time faculty and offers undergraduate degrees in ACS-certified chemistry, biochemistry, forensic biochemistry, and medicinal plant chemistry. See more at www.nmu.edu/marquette The primary duties of this position will be to teach Biochemistry laboratory and discussion sections for first-year Chemistry courses. Other assignments are possible based on the expertise of the applicant.  Masters of Science in Biochemistry or closely related field. Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level.  Review of candidates will begin immediately. Applications will be accepted through June 30, 2018.
