Tenure-Track positions in Analytical, Physical Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa is seeking candidates for two tenure-track Assistant Professors starting in August 2019; one in Analytical and the other in Physical Chemistry.
The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of 8,913 undergraduate and graduate students. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is required; postdoctoral & teaching experiences are preferred. The desired candidates will excel in teaching and original research with undergraduates. Start-up funds will be provided. The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry & Physics consists of 28 full-time personnel and approx. 150 majors. The department is ACS-approved, and one of its Biochemistry degrees is accredited by ASBMB.
