The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa is seeking candidates for two tenure-track Assistant Professors starting in August 2019; one in Analytical and the other in Physical Chemistry.

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of 8,913 undergraduate and graduate students.  The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central business district, which is a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area.  UT reflects this vibrancy; with 20 consecutive years of enrollment growth UT boasts 229 student organizations, a multicultural student body from 50 states and 140 countries, and "Top Tier" ranking in U.S. News and World Report.. 

A Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is required; postdoctoral & teaching experiences are preferred. The desired candidates will excel in teaching and original research with undergraduates. Start-up funds will be provided. The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry & Physics consists of 28 full-time personnel and approx. 150 majors. The department is ACS-approved, and one of its Biochemistry degrees is accredited by ASBMB.
