Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in chemistry and a Ph.D. (by August 15, 2019) in biochemistry or closely related field. Post-doctoral experience preferred
  • Excellence in classroom and laboratory teaching at all levels
  • Mentoring and teaching students with diverse academic backgrounds
  • Developing a strong, externally funded undergraduate research program
  • Teaching chemistry courses within the liberal arts context

Major Teaching Responsibilities:

The applicant will be expected to teach general and advanced biochemistry lecture and lab courses.

Additional Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Introductory chemistry lecture and laboratories
  • Research-based senior seminar course
  • Others courses in the candidate's area of expertise
