Position No. 00051413. The Department of Chemistry at Southern Methodist University (SMU), Dallas, Texas offers an open rank THEORETICAL CHEMISTRY position (tenure track Assistant Professor or Associate/Full Professor with tenure) starting August 1, 2019. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry or a related discipline. The successful candidate is expected to engage in the new Theoretical Chemistry PhD program, (therefore, competence in teaching Theoretical/Quantum Chemistry at the graduate levels is mandatory), and will establish a high impact research program complementing the current research in Theoretical Chemistry at SMU.
