Assistant Professor - Experimental or Computational Physical or Biophysical Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Loyola University New Orleans seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the area of experimental or computational physical or biophysical chemistry at the Assistant Professor level starting in August 2019. We are an ACS-approved department that values undergraduate research in addition to excellent teaching. Candidates whose research interests complement existing faculty efforts are encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. degree in chemistry is required.
Post-doctoral or teaching experience is strongly preferred. Candidates will teach both upper level lecture and laboratory courses in Physical Chemistry as well as in the General Chemistry sequence.
