The University of Kansas Chemical and Petroleum Engineering (CPE) department is seeking a well-qualified Associate Researcher to support a research laboratory.  The labs focus on both industry sponsored proprietary research and federally-funded research projects.  The labs are setup for studying reaction engineering, catalysis and separations. 

This position is available beginning January 1, 2019.  Base appointment is 12 months. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with education and experience.  The successful candidate will possess excellent experimental and analytical skills, strong oral and written communication abilities as well as be able to work in a hands-on, collaborative, energetic environment.  Applicants are expected to have earned PhD degree in chemical engineering or a closely related field, demonstrated experience in areas mentioned in the “Job Description” section, as either part of the PhD dissertation or evidenced by research publications and patents and provide evidence of the ability to lead a research team composed of post-doctoral researchers, graduate students and undergraduate researchers.  For more details about this position, please visit: https://employment.ku.edu/staff/12878BR
