Tenure Track Assistant Professor, Experimental/Theoretical/Computational Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry, at Virginia Commonwealth University, seeks outstanding applicants for two tenure-track Assistant Professor Positions in Experimental and Theoretical/Computational chemistry. We are especially interested in candidates with research interests in two interdisciplinary areas: (1) Nanomaterials & Nanocatalysis for Energy & Environmental Applications and (2) Bioinorganic and Chemical Biology for applications in Drug Discovery, Advanced Diagnosis & Imaging, and Nanomedicine. The Department of Chemistry offers a stimulating environment that supports cutting-edge interdisciplinary research within the Colleges of Humanities & Sciences and Engineering and the Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy. We are looking for motivated individuals with outstanding records of research accomplishments, innovative future research plans, who are also capable of achieving teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

A Ph.D. in chemistry is required and post-doctoral experience is strongly encouraged.
