Weiss Instructor in Chemistry (non-tenure track position)
The Department of Chemistry at Rice University seeks applicants for a full-time (12 month) Lecturer position in Chemistry. This non-tenure track position has an anticipated start date of July 1, 2019.
Duties will primarily include leading organic chemistry discussion sections at the undergraduate level during the academic year and teaching organic chemistry courses in summer school. Other teaching assignments are possible, depending on departmental needs and candidate qualifications. Service and committee assignments are also expected.
A doctoral degree in chemistry or a related field and previous teaching experience are required. University-level teaching experience with expertise in organic chemistry is preferred.
