Department Chair Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry, Michigan Technological University, is seeking a chair to lead the Department in implementing a shared vision for its future in research and teaching excellence, beginning Fall 2019. The chair will be responsible for supporting the Department’s ongoing efforts to increase externally funded research, strengthening our degree programs, and improving infrastructure. They will also be a leader in developing and driving forward strategies for effective donor engagement. The chair will maintain a dynamic research program commensurate with current university strengths and advance the Chemistry Department’s role as a key player of the Michigan Tech community.

The successful candidate will have qualifications commensurate with appointment to the rank of Full Professor in Chemistry.
