The Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, renewable, non-tenure track Lecturer position to begin August 16, 2019. The appointment is in the area of General Chemistry. Applicants will have a PhD in Chemistry or a closely-related field at the time of the appointment, and demonstrable expertise in teaching at the University level. Responsibilities related to this position may include teaching general chemistry courses, course curriculum development, electronic course management, online course development and teaching, operation of a general chemistry teaching laboratory, and advisement of undergraduate students.
