Assistant Professor of Chemistry (19-03)
The Department of Chemistry at Francis Marion University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in organic chemistry or a closely related area beginning August 2019. A Ph.D. in Chemistry is required at the time of appointment. Teaching responsibilities include general chemistry, introductory and advanced organic chemistry, and contribution to the department’s newly established laboratory course that emphasizes macromolecular, supramolecular, and nanoscale systems.
The successful candidate is required to develop a strong undergraduate research program, and must engage in scholarly and university service in an ACS-approved department.
