Visiting Faculty Positions in Chemistry at Reed College. The Chemistry Department invites applications for two one-year visiting positions, preferably at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2019. We seek candidates who can contribute to our upper-level undergraduate curriculum in one or more of the following areas: physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, as well as the general chemistry sequence. Teaching duties also include advising senior thesis students in year-long research projects. A PhD is required; postdoctoral or teaching experience is preferred but not required. The Chemistry Department has excellent resources for innovative teaching and research, including dedicated research lab space, a 400 MHz multinuclear NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS and ICP-MS instruments, a laser laboratory, and a TRIGA nuclear reactor research facility.
