Job Description:


The position is for a 3-year term with potential for conversion to tenure-track during or at the end of the term. The chemistry department supports many other disciplines including biochemistry, pre-pharmacy, environmental science, engineering, neuroscience, biology, and the newly created health sciences majors. Our department is approved by the American Chemical Society and has a strong commitment to undergraduate research. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program to which undergraduates actively contribute. The department has a new 400MHz NMR as well as other state of the art instrumentation.

  • The individual will have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry or closely related field by the time of appointment.
