Georgetown College invites application for a Visiting Assistant Professor, anticipated Fall 2019 to teach undergraduate Organic Chemistry as well as lower-division courses. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. The Chemistry Department is ACS-Approved.  It has 5 full-time faculty, is well-equipped, and emphasizes close faculty-student interaction.  Georgetown College is a private liberal arts institution located about 12 miles north of Lexington, KY. Emphasis is placed on teaching excellence and scholarly inquiry in the context of a church-related college.  Through a broad undergraduate program, the curriculum offers a foundation for shaping informed thought and action in order to prepare students for their place in society.  Georgetown College embraces diversity and encourages women and individuals from underrepresented groups to apply.
