Instructor, Chemistry and Biochemistry

 

Position Description
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Montana seeks applications for the position of Instructor in Chemistry and Biochemistry.  This is a two-year renewable position to begin in August of 2019. Duties and responsibilities include teaching introductory chemistry and biochemistry lecture, lab and discussion groups to predominately natural science, pre-nursing and other health-related students.  Other lecture assignments are possible based on the applicant’s background.

 

Qualifications:
Appointment at the rank of Instructor at the University of Montana requires a Ph. D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemistry Education or related field.  Previous teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable but not essential. Applicants are expected to have good communication skills and a commitment to quality undergraduate education.
