Lecturer (non-tenure track position)
The Department of Chemistry at Rice University seeks applicants for a full-time (9-month) Lecturer position in Chemistry. This non-tenure track position has an anticipated start date of
July 1, 2019.
Duties primarily include teaching general chemistry laboratories at the undergraduate level. Other teaching assignments are possible, dependent on departmental needs and candidate qualifications. Some service/committee assignments are also expected.
A doctoral degree in chemistry or a related field and previous teaching experience (preferably at the university level) are required. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in all areas of chemistry.
