In accordance with § 94 Sec. 2, subpara. 1 of the Austrian Universities Act, the Institute of Processing Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering & Natural Sciences at the Johannes Kepler University announces a tenured faculty opening for a University Professor for Chemical Process Engineering

The Institute of Process Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering & Natural Sciences at the Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a full-time, private law employment position as a Professor for Chemical Process Engineering to begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the 2002 Universities Act.

The successful candidate will be expected to represent and further develop the academic area in teaching and research.

The successful candidate should hold a venia docendi (Habilitation) in a current research field of Chemical Process Engineering (or comparable post-doctorate/habilitation qualifications).

A salary of EUR 71, 822.80 as currently stated in the collective agreement will be voluntarily offered. Depending on the current position (present salary), the annual gross salary will be between € 80,000 and € 100,000 (minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement plus voluntary additional payments).
