Applicants should have a PhD degree in chemistry with a strong publication record and expertise in organometallic or main group chemistry or synthetic methodology development. The appointee is expected to work closely with Professor Zuowei Xie’s research group (http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/chem/en/people/academic/xzw/index.html).

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for three years, renewable subject to mutual agreement. Opportunities are available in Hong Kong for annual application of research funding on a competitive basis.  

Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care, plus a 15% contract-end gratuity for an appointment of two years or longer. Annual salary ranges from HK$50,610 to HK$68,320 (US$1 = HK$7.8). The terms mentioned herein are for reference only and are subject to revision by the University.
