Description: Full-time lecturer with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work cooperatively with faculty and teach undergraduate chemistry courses to a diverse student body. Primary teaching assignments will include lower division undergraduate lecture/laboratory chemistry courses for majors and non-majors. Additional teaching assignments may include upper division lecture/laboratory courses in area of specialization. This is an academic year appointment with the possibility for annual renewal.


Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or closely related discipline is required. All areas of specialization are welcome. ABD may be considered if dissertation can be completed within the first year of the appointment. Must be committed to quality undergraduate education.


Preferred Qualifications: Record of undergraduate teaching success.
