Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Education or related field demonstrated commitment to chemical education.

Preferred Qualifications

Administrative experience in laboratory or lecturer courses, or demonstrated organizational skills.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The position includes opportunities for curriculum development and for training and supervision of teaching assistants in the Department's undergraduate chemistry courses. Initial assignments will be in our general chemistry or organic chemistry courses and may include laboratory or lecture courses.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.   Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2019.
