Job Details
THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON invites applications for three laboratory instructors starting August 16, 2019. The person(s) occupying these positions will instruct six (6) labs per week in either General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry, prepare for and provide direct instruction to students, assess student work and provide assistance to students outside of class and contribute to the development of new program materials. These positions are full time, non-tenure track positions and are renewable on a year to year basis.
The candidate for this position must possess an M.S. in Chemistry or related field, effective written communication skills in English, training in safe laboratory practices and procedures, experience in Microsoft applications and experience in course management software systems. Candidates must have one year laboratory teaching experience at the university level.
