The Chemistry Program of Stockton University is seeking to fill a one year visiting position at the Instructor level in the areas of General and Introductory Organic Chemistry.  Classes for the Fall 2019 semester begin Wednesday, September 4th.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching General or Organic Chemistry lecture and/or laboratory sections at the introductory level.
  • Teaching load is 24 teaching credit hours per academic year, with lecture courses carrying 4 teaching credit hours and laboratories 2 teaching credit hours.
  • Evening teaching responsibilities are possible.
  • The ability to support Stockton University’s diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission.

Required Qualifications:

  • ABD or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related area required for appointment as instructor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience in introductory courses of General and Organic Chemistry is a plus.
  • We seek a colleague who is committed to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment.
  • Academic experience with culturally diverse populations is desired.
