Job Details
The Department of Forensic Science is conducting a search for a forensic science faculty position within its nationally recognized FEPAC-accredited MS and Ph.D. programs.
As a leader in forensic science education in the US, candidates are expected to be dedicated teachers, productive researchers, and professionals prepared to become actively engaged in the diverse programs administered by the College of Criminal Justice.
A successful candidate must be able to develop and teach graduate-level courses in forensic science, pursue a sustained research agenda, supervise graduate student research and actively participate in the continuous development of forensic science programming at SHSU. Candidates for this faculty position shall have a doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field from an accredited university. Relevant research/teaching experience in forensic science or a related natural science is required.
