The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Providence College invites applications for a full-time, two-semester visiting position at the assistant professor level in General Chemistry to begin in August 2019.

Reports to: Department Chair
Essential Duties: The successful applicant will teach first- and second-semester freshman-level general chemistry lecture and general chemistry laboratory sections. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to engaged learning in their undergraduate teaching responsibilities and will be given the opportunity to participate in the wider life of the department.
Education and Experience Required: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry from an accredited institution by the time of appointment and provide evidence of teaching excellence.
