Job Details
Tenure track (academic 9-month) position at the Assistant Professor level (60% research, 40% instruction) specializing in fermentation sciences bridging basic science to the applied. Specializations in microbiology, chemistry or engineering are welcome. Potential research areas include, but are not limited to: 1) microbial transformation of bioresources; 2) genetic manipulation or characterization of fermentation microflora; 3) fermentation applied to advancing human health or environmental conditions; and 4) dairy-related fermentation. The position includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and serving as advisor to graduate and undergraduate students.
