Job Details
The Department of Chemistry at Emory University invites applications for a lecture-track faculty position.
We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Chemistry who have a strong commitment to pedagogy and a specific interest in teaching undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses with a preference for biomolecular chemistry. Applicants with prior teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
The appointee will join the department during an exciting period as we grow into new and renovated space and implement an innovative undergraduate chemistry curriculum [for more information, visit https://pubs.acs.org/doi/pdf/10.1021/acs.jchemed.8b00585?rand=7v7wy2cq]. In addition to curriculum and pedagogy development, the appointee will have an opportunity to participate in faculty governance of the department and university, undergraduate student mentoring and research, and Emory’s summer study abroad program in Siena, Italy.
