About this Job:

To provide analytical data and methodology in support of:

  • Development and registration of formulations, active ingredients and packaging materials.
  • Production and supply operations.
  • Customer sales and marketing.

The candidate may also have responsibility for method development and validation, GLP test and reference material characterization, conduct of GLP product chemistry studies, manufacturing and Pilot Plant support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support formulation, active ingredient and packaging development by providing timely and innovative analytical solutions.
  • Conduct product chemistry studies that meet worldwide regulatory requirements, to enable product registration.
  • Provide analytical support to the supply chain through reliable data, efficient analytical methods and effective problem solving.
  • Characterize analytical reference standards and GLP test materials to meet development and production requirements.
  • Support our registrations by providing priority analysis, methodology and expertise to regulatory authorities around the world.

Education & Experience:

  • PhD required with at least 2 years of experience
  • Strong background in analytical chemistry with hands-on instrumental experience. In particular, chromatographic separation techniques
  • Familiarity with the chemistry and analytical technologies required for the development of new active ingredients and formulated pesticide products

Additional Knowledge, Skills, Traits & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the chemistry and analytical techniques required for the development of new pesticide active ingredients and formulated products is desired
  • Proven track record of innovative application of new or existing technologies, to solve analytical challenges
  • Knowledge of analytical technologies associated with the characterization of biological pesticide products is desirable
  • Strong leadership, project management and problem solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and adaptability to change
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse cultural, cross-functional team environment, which includes scientists and non-scientists
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
