Job Details
The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgia State University (GSU) seeks exceptional candidates for up to two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. We seek candidates in the broadly defined fields of organic and medicinal chemistries and are especially interested in applicants from underrepresented groups. Individuals with a record of outstanding research accomplishments are strongly encouraged to apply. The potential to establish an independent, externally funded research program, an unwavering dedication towards excellence in teaching, and a demonstrated commitment to working with diverse student and faculty populations, are required.

A Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Chemical Biology or a related field and post-doctoral experience are required.
